Diciembre….alrededor del Mundo- December….Around the World!!

 

En Geografía-Cultura, sentía que tenía que encontrar algo… fascinante o divertido para hacer… el manual esta ok…., pero quería hacer algo realmente divertido!!.   Hace algún tiempo atrás le compré a Erica, en Confessions of a Homeschooler mom, su curriculo de Geografía, “Expedition to Earth” pero aún no había hecho nada con el mismo…. obviamente no es montessori, pero con algunos ajustes, le dimos nuestro toque montessoriano.   Incorporé los mapas, las cajas de los continentes y nuestro estilo!!LOL   Y ha sido UN EXITO TOTAL!!!   Les cuento que durante este mes de diciembre, es nuestro hit, el mismo curriculo contiene una sección de Navidad alrededor del Mundo!!!  está genial, y obviamente como estamos en navidad, lo hacemos todo en un mismo “viaje”!!!LOL --  In Geography-Culture, felt I had to find something fascinating or fun to work with ... the manual is ok .... but wanted to do something really fun!. Some time ago I bought Erica at Confessions of a Homeschooler mom, her World Geography curriculum, "Expedition to Earth" (I LOVE IT!!!) but had not yet done anything with it .... obviously not montessori, but with some adjustments, we gave our Montessori flair. Joined maps, continent boxes and our style! LOL And it has been a total success! I have to tell  you that during the month of December is our hit, the same curriculum contains a section of Christmas around the World! is great, and obviously as we are at Christmas, we do it all in one "trip"! LOL

Comenzamos abordando nuestro avión privado y llegamos al primer destino….. El continente de Asia!!  1er país….  CHINA!!!   Las Chicas tuvieron que presentar su pasaporte para poder salir de Puerto Rico y llegar a China!!  (el curriculo contiene el pasaporte!!)….    Identificamos a China en el mapa, y obviamente en nuestro mapa montessoriano!! -- We begin by boarding our private plane and arrived at the first destination ..... The continent of Asia! 1st country .... CHINA! The girls had to show her passport to get out of Puerto Rico and reach China! (the curriculum contains the passport!) .... We identify China on the map, and obviously in our Montessori map!

Trabajamos con el Traductor de Google, las palabras,   hola, gracias, buen día, sus respectivos nombres y por su puesto Feliz Navidad!! -- We work with Google Translate, words like…..  hello, thank you, good day, their names(so funny to heard them at other language!!)  and of course Merry Christmas!

Datos curiosos y datos importantes de China! --  Fun facts and important facts!!

Todas estas cositas están en nuestrso envase de los Continentes!! – All these at our Continent boxes!

Cenamos un día  Chow Meing de vegetales, (no, no los hice…. los compré!!)LOL y usamos palitos!! todo un reto!! --  We dined one day Vegetable Chow Main, (no, I did not cooked them.... I bought!) And use sticks LOL! a challenge! -

Conocimos la muralla China, el por qué de su existencia y hasta construimos una!!! --  Study the Great Chinesse Wall, and why the builded…. and the girls build one!!!

Las niñas trabajaron dibujos chinos, para crear, sus abanicos….. por cierto aquí dice…. Xié Xié…  gracias!!  -- The girls draw some chinesse things to make their Chinesse fans….. by the way, this one says Xié Xié, means Thank you!!

 

Buscamos como se celebra la Navidad en China, sus costumbres y disfrutamos de imagines y videos… de Google --  We find at Google how Christmas is celebrated in China, customs and enjoyed pics and videos ... of Google!

Pusimos ese bebecito de árbol de navidad en la escuelita, para ir decorandolo con adornos de los paises que estudiamos!!! --  We put this little baby Christmas tree in the environment, decorating it with ornaments to go in the countries we studied!
